Specialties: Children, Trauma, Parenting
Hi, I’m Thalia Suarez.
Counseling isn’t just my profession... it’s my calling. As a military spouse, mother, and immigrant, I understand firsthand the challenges of trauma, transition, and uncertainty. These experiences fuel my passion to help others heal, grow, and feel truly seen throughout every season of life.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, and I’m trained in a range of evidence-based and creative approaches, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.), Gottman Couples Counseling, Managing Emotional States Effectively (M.E.S.E.), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (T.B.R.I.), Christian Counseling, Play-Informed Therapy, Art-Informed Therapy, and Sand-Tray Informed Therapy. I also support neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, and I speak Spanish fluently.
My style is holistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed... honoring the emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational parts of each person’s journey. Whether I’m working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore, heal, and move forward with hope, confidence, and a renewed sense of self.
