Hi there! I’m an LCSW with six years of experience working with children and families who have been involved with foster care, adoption, or who have experienced trauma. I believe that at the root of every behavior is a longing to be seen, heard, and understood.
As a therapist specializing in childhood mental health, my focus is on parent-child relationships, childhood trauma, and emotional and behavioral dysregulation. In my practice, I strive to create a compassionate, supportive space where both children and caregivers feel safe to connect and heal.
I use evidence-based approaches to empower parents and children through difficult or challenging circumstances to rediscover joy, curiosity, and connection. I’m certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and utilize Play-Informed therapy, and Sandtray-Informed therapy.
I’m honored to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where children and adults can explore, process, and overcome difficult experiences and continue to grow and thrive.
