I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018, with a specialization in Family and Marital Systems. Additionally, I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am here to support you every step of the way.
What brought me to becoming a Counselor...

Throughout my life, I have experienced traumatic events that were very difficult to navigate. The first time that I saw a counselor, I was in high school and was going through a tough time and I'll never forget the way that I felt when I walked into her office. It was the first time that I was able to explore everything I had been going through and maybe even did not understand at that time, I felt safe and heard and that was just the beginning of my therapy journey.

As a young adult, I experienced more challenges and for many years was navigating being a military spouse without any family around while also raising young children. Seeing a counselor helped me work through difficult times, I learned so many valuable tools and felt supported and heard.

I have always had a passion for helping others and whenever I would reflect into what direction I wanted to take, I always would go back to the feeling I had when I first walked into my counselor's office. I want nothing more than to help people feel that same way, to feel heard, to gain hope, and to learn ways to work through difficult times.
