Masters Intern

Brandon McClelland

I moved to Navarre in 2015 but have visited this area since I was a child. I love my community and am happy to share the memories with my beautiful 3-year-old daughter. I became a Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) in 2019 and then a Qualified Autism Service Practitioner Supervisor (QASP-s) in 2021. The experience I gained by utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) helped me realize the positive benefits that families and individuals experience when daily stressors decrease when therapy is provided. I became more aware of my passion to support children and began to look for ways help beyond identifying behavioral issues. This is what motivated me to enter Liberty University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.

I am currently completing an internship at Charis Counseling and moving toward completing my M.S. and continue to gain knowledge and experience. My main objective is to encourage and guide positive mental health development for children and adults. I look to focus on trauma and individual challenges causing depression and anxiety, for adults and children.
